Red Grandis has a color much more pale than genuine mahogany. It is very similar in weight, density, grain structure, and the way it responds to most machining operations. The wood's color does deepen with age turning to a darker red much like mahogany. Other names for it are Eucaluptus grandis, flooded gum, and rose gum.

Exceptionally stable Uses: high end furniture, cabinetry, and outdoor projects
